Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) implementation
Our workers implement the strategies in a BSP developed by your Behaviour Support Practitioner.

What is it?
About BSP implementation
We support participants who have a Behaviour Support Plan developed by their Behaviour Support Practitioner. Our disability support workers implement participant-specific strategies with a focus on dignity, communication, rights, choice and quality of life.
Our role is to implement the strategies set out in the participant’s BSP, not to develop or authorise Behaviour Support Plans. The participant’s rights, preferences and involvement remain central.
What we offer
How we can support you
- Reviewing the participant’s current BSP and relevant support instructions
- Participant-specific worker training and guidance
- Using proactive, person-centred strategies in line with the participant’s BSP, preferences and communication needs
- Recording observations and relevant changes in progress notes and incident reports
- Working collaboratively with the participant and the people they choose to involve, including their Behaviour Support Practitioner
